I can see wanting to bang a lesson into her. I feel much the same way about women who hit on my boyfriend, I just wanna invite them over for a threesome so I can beat the **** out of them while I shove cacti up their pussies and call them sluts.

Totally serious, it's kind of a fantasy. One he is, regrettably, not on board with.

That's the first time I've ever heard something about your boyfriend that wasn't badass.

He's actually quite the law abider, and torture is illegal.

If it helps any, he's a law abider purely because he loves his guns and won't chance losing them.

Well at least you're there to keep him from being too good a person.

Pokémon games suck.

I'm a huge fan of anything where you can "make your avatar better" i.e., leveling up, and Pokemon has by far the WORST leveling-up system I've ever seen. EVs are complete ****. What a worthless game mechanic. It's a hidden stat that has an unbelievably significant role on the progression of pokemon, and the ****ing stat is hidden. What a gyp. I don't even understand what they were thinking of when they made EVs.
There's tons of other reasons why I also don't like Pokemon (i.e., you can't avoid pokemon in the grass, which is annoying as hell. I mean seriously???) but I'll just stop there as it was EVs that really ruined the experience for me.

uh you can buy repels to avoid them.

i don't give a rat's ass about EVs. They are only around for min/maxing OCD types that enter tournaments and crap like that.

Yeah but I question why repels are even necessary, they should have just cut a line through the grass patch so you can walk around it/through it.

Oh and don't get me wrong, I still play emerald from time to time. I still love that game.

I like walking through the grass and always being challenged. It is part of the grind and levelin' up. I don't mind encounters. It is also just a part of rpg experience.

I'm still playing Y. I am finally at the last gym and then heading to to the last four.

Same here. I spend far too much time searching for my core team Pokemon in the same area for hours on end in order to find one with base stats matching my requirements to bother with even more headaches. It's a bull**** stat, but I can only care so much about so many things.

And as much as grinding is a pain in the ass, it's nice to have a game with such pure, old school RPG elements. And the sheer amount of Pokemon to grind with keeps it fresh as far as I'm concerned.

My strat with picking my team was to keep the first six pokemon I catch as my team throughout the whole game. Take them all the way to glory and beating the game with a ragtag team that most people wouldn't use.
