I miss diner coffee now that I no longer live in north America. It's so good. A bit tangy.

Agree

I read that having coffee within 90 minutes of waking up is bad for you, it ups your cortisol, which is the thing everyone is talking about now. Trying it out today. Been awake for way over two hours, gonna go for my first coffee now. Will report whether this makes me a less irritable person or something...

Super hard to pick ONE tea, so I went with green.

I always really prefer an afternoon coffee or even an evening one.

Btw this kind of works. Feeling more energized, less wired.

Coffee! As it’s like a separate ritual of the day rather than just a drink. Grinding beans, the smell, that first sip — it all feels a bit ceremonial compared to just chucking a teabag in. I drift between coffee and tea depending on mood, but coffee still wins when I want a proper pause. At work we ended up trying an office coffee machine rental after years of instant, and it genuinely changed how many people actually bothered to take a proper break. Tea’s still solid, but coffee just feels more like an event.

My favourite hot beverage would be coffee. I love a warm cup in the morning, especially with a little milk, as I slowly start my day.

Sometimes the best places to buy coffee are discount stores. You can get “gourmet” coffee for less than the price of mainline brands like Folgers at supermarkets. I recently shopped at a newer Dollar Tree not far from my home. It has the biggest selection of any Dollar Tree I’ve been in. I got a bag of breakfast blend from the White Coffee Company on Long Island NY at a good price.
