Otherwise you are being a thought-police and then go on to make slanderous accusation about person you know very little about and participating in what you are denouncing - being prejudice. Sometimes it is better to chalk up an incident as something you don't know what the other person is thinking then to fill in the blanks and hurting yourself with thoughts that never really entered the other person's mind. And if someone give you a snide look it is indicative of who they are not who you are.

Well said dude. But I'd rather assume the worst of people than the best, it's served me well.

And yeah, if you're hangin out in white dominated areas and getting stared at, it IS because you're black. Sorry to burst your bubble. Works the other way around too if that makes you feel any better.

of course you wouldn't see the point of my post. I know racism still exists but I don't just automatically assume that everyone that doesn't share my skin color is racist if I show up in their area.

I've been the token all my life growing up in school. If you don't know what token is, the one black friend that many white people have but it's because I went to schools that were predominately white and had no issues. I don't go around thinking that everyone that isn't the same skin color as me is racist.

Where the hell is RT dude? Cause us three should really have our own thread.

You know one where you two can go back and forth about race. And then I'll interject, then you guys can both call me a race traitor. Oh it will be sooo much fun.....(Actually, I think I might just start that thread. Only because I see the comments in **** loads of other threads. And I almost feel we need to actually have a spot where we can banter on it)

One of my fav episodes of South Park is the one where Cartman forms a Christian Rock band, just because of the stereotype with Token and the bass guitar. lol
