I don't even know where to begin with this one. Perhaps I should consult Mr Strawman for you?

I was just rather confused since you think that it's different from rationality when in reality the two are synonymous.

I never insinuated nor stated that there was a difference. I think you misunderstood that.

No it's an analogy demonstrating why you don't have to be a parent to deplore another parent participating in child abuse.

Um. Maybe you misunderstood what you were writing.

Are you just contradicting yourself or what?

Anyway, shoot your kids up or I will shoot you. :D

Brilliant. Then maybe they can be put into foster families who really do abuse them.

Cute false dichotomy. Not vaccinating is 'really' abuse, no matter how scientifically illiterate :D one might be.

Giggling aloud, Alice wondered whether to chase this nonsensical rabbit even deeper down this hole. "No," she finally decided. "That's just what he'll be expecting."

Hmu when you can back up your anti-scientific beliefs. :D

It's a stance, not a belief... Fine line, I know. I'll hit you up when I feel the need to gain your approval. Otherwise, do your own damn research, ya fascist oinkity oink (I'm hope you're not expecting a more clever insult from someone who spends all day with small children).

....did I just walk into some idiot trying to justify turning their petri dish children into walking diseases based on "rationality" and "critical thinking" or am I having some kind of terrible fever dream where people are totally cool with kids getting polio, measles, tuberculosis and other horrifying (and completely preventable) things?

Is the person in question also one of those people that trust prayer over medical attention?

I think you're gonna need this.

Actually, I strongly urge you to click that.

I've done my research thanks. If you find something credible that goes against it I'll gladly check it out though.

Ah. So you've been employing both your small children's understanding of logic and sense of humour, that makes a lot more sense. :D

That was so clever that I'm going to have to rethink my entire parenting approach. Thank you, thank you so much for enlighteningme. Next!
