who cares why they buy them, they could use them as slingshot bands for all i care. the fact they have invested in them means more money is going to the countries in need. buying on ebay is a sick thing to do i know a boy who instead of buying the band aid single- downloaded it on kazaa. and no, the anti racism bands profit goes mainly to racism funds, a small perecentage goes to nike. so said thierry henry anyway..

I care why they buy them. I think its great that the money is going to charity, of course, but the fact that that these people are turning poverty into a fashion statement annyos me to no end. Doesnt that bother you? Its worse with the racism and bullying ones I think, I mean some of the people I see wearing them now have put so many people through so much **** in earlier years. Oh well, I guess thats human nature for you.

basically, i look at it in its most basic form. if its becoming a fashion statement its becoming more popular, the higher the popularity the more are bought thus the more money made which actually goes to aid the countries. people who buy them as fashion accesories arent worth thinking about. id rather their more popular and more money is given to the charity then it being a small cult of devotees though no money is given to charity.

The problem is because it's a 'trend' when some loser says that it's 'so over' the charity will end up losing money

Yeah youre right, I know... I do think its great that more money is being made, but the people that do it for fashion really do get under my skin. I just dont understand how they can wear them and not care what its for... But theres nowt I can do about it I guess, may as well just let it go.
