I agree that the United States completly neglects third world countries who could acctually use some aid. Especially Africa, it seems like America is constantly trying to redeem itself for enslaving Africans for hundreds of years yet were to afraid to send them some water. Thats pretty sad. Part of the reason we have no desire to aid third world countries is the very reason there third world countries to start with. They have nothing to offer us. Africa has nothing the united states desires(besides war diamonds but there well taken care of..) so what reson do we have to thelp them, none. Its a pretty messy sad situation.

I have to say... I'm not one with all knowledge about latest political issues and war and stuff like that... but I think Anarchy Doll its great that you bring your kids up like this, because they are the ones that are gonna have to clean up our mess if we carry on fighting and protesting. So its good they have a knowledge of peace inside them.

That's not true, they're economies aren't undeveloped because they don't have anything that the wealthier nations want. Most thrid world countries are in the position they are because of years and years of colonization, where the only crops allowed to be produced were cash crops that sold well in the markets of their parent countries. As a result, their economies never developed, so when these colonies were granted sovereignty, all they had to rely on were one or two products, which doesn't make for a good economy, to say the least.

Third world debt is a large problem, here's a random fact, for the amount of money spent on chocolate bars in one year in the u.k around five countries in africa could repay its debt to the u.k. Go to www.makepovertyhistory.com to read about third world poverty and think about getting a white band

Those bands have turned into a fashion statement around where I live, its awful. Theres all these people now that are only wearing them for the fashion, they say themselves they dont care about poverty, racism, or bullying (or whatever colour they happen to be wearing). Its sick, half the people I see wearing the anti-bullying bands are bullies themselves. Meh, but thats off topic, sorry bout that...

Totally. People come into the shop where I work asking if we sell 'those bands' - they don't even know/care what they represent! And even the adults who come into ask are desperate to get them cause their kids have been majorly nagging for them, I'm guessing its not because of represent. They're the new nike trainers. God, Nike making money out of racism, its disgusting.
