Victor Pontes-Macedo aka MC Exposition, the emcee from the Boston based live band hip hop group Audible Mainframe.

I haven't really thought much about the band for a few years so I decided to see if they had something new lined up for this year, so to find out instead that their frontman died of stomach cancer is pretty disheartening.

BBC News - Sir Patrick Moore, astronomer and broadcaster, dies aged 89

"I hope Games Master gets the respect it deserves in his obituary. Golden Joysticks are much cooler than telescopes." - text from my friend today.

EDIT: My mate also posted this on Facebook today, alongwith "Perhaps he should have pressed up up down down left right left right A and start".

A sincere RIP to Sir Patrick though.

Yeah, serious news. Just heard it. Suppose that's the end for "The sky at night", then, unless they get someone like Brian Cox to take it over? One of the longest-running non-drama programmes on BBC I would think. I remember it as a kid, and I'm nearly fifty now.

RIP Sir Patrick. We are but stardust, and to stardust we return...
