Because without people believing in it it would be harmless dead mythology

I'm not going to bother ridiculing Zues or Greek mythology or whatever

It's the believers that give it power. The faith itself is just fiction. I'm not going ridicule an idea. Ideas don't have feelings. It's the people that can feel it. You don't burn a flag alone. Flags don't have nerve endings. You do it in front of someone stupid enough to care. The flag doesn't care.

I hate when people do this. Look at individual issues instead of global vision.

What we have in common:

1) environmental concerns
2) opposition to corporate greed
3) Desire for peace
4) justice for the queer community
5) end misogyny
6) end racism
7) end starvation and poverty

I feel like we're on the same team just discussing ideas about how the get there
