He kills it in those General commercials though. Maybe he's just not as good with the longer form.

His issues with Shaq were almost entirely down to different approaches to the game. I think saying his teammates hated him is rather presumptuous. He was cocky and vocal throughout his whole career, but that just became synonymous with his persona.
