News Alert: Paul Sorvino, 'Goodfellas' and 'Law & Order' star, dead at 83

Paul Sorvino, a veteran actor who played mob boss Paulie Cicero in "Goodfellas," has died, according to his publicist Roger Neal.

He was 83.

"Our hearts are broken, there will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of my life, and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage," his wife, Dee Dee Sorvino, said in a statement to CNN provided by Neal.

News Alert: Tony Dow's management team removes statement star has died

After sharing a statement on his verified Facebook account Tuesday morning that Tony Dow, an actor and director best known for his role as older brother Wally Cleaver on "Leave It to Beaver," had died, Dow's management team has removed the statement.

According to Judy Twersky, a longtime friend of Dow's, he was still alive as of 3:30 p.m. ET, when she spoke to Dow's wife, Lauren Dow.

Lauren Dow told Twersky he is still breathing and receiving hospice care. Dow was unclear what happened with the statement from his management team earlier today, Twersky told CNN.

And Sulu hates him. I think he's (Takei) taking Nichelle's death a bit hard though, they were pretty close friends.
