I always remember James Garner from the Rockford Files, I kind of forgotten series at least in the UK, great stuff. R.I.P

James Sullivan (The Rev)
Avenged Sevenfold Drummer/Songwriter
February 9, 1981 – December 28, 2009

He was a very talented drummer and contributed so much to the band's music. To be honest I think the rest of the band died with him. Their music today is alright, but will never be the same without The Rev!

Richard Attenborough, director of Gandhi and actor in The Great Escape and Jurassic Park (among many other credits to his name) died at age 90 yesterday. Cause of death isn't yet certain but it's likely that his heart troubles that he's been struggling with for the past few years did him in.

Also, could a mod maybe move this thread back to the lounge? We've been discussing deaths of celebrities outside of music so it seems more appropriate.

Time has passed and it is somewhat strange that I say Rest in peace Alvin Lee perhaps the best guitar slinger of all time! He sang that he loved to change the world you did my friend you did...............
