I know way too many people that are recklessly running towards unhealthy vices to hide from their depression the same way he did and it sucks knowing it could be any of us next. I'm not exactly sure how to fix that. I'm not sure how to bring people out of misery when I don't know how to bring myself out of it. You try to build this support system but sometimes it's not enough. Then you watch as people destroy themselves or fight to escape this despondency wondering what to do. Waking up every day hoping it's not me or him or you that falls victim to our own minds. Some people don't want help, they just want to be gone. And you just have to accept that and try to cherish every little moment you can with out knowing if this person will be here tomorrow. Or knowing if you will be here tomorrow. Just hope that you made existing bearable to those who want to leave for at least a moment. Pay attention to those close to you and make sure they know they are loved. Even if it doesn't save them it will make a difference.

Edit: ****ing Dr. Phil picture.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

I agree about the folks who are making hateful comments or laughing. It sounds like he was very troubled, though I've never listened to his music. I was always a big fan of Linkin Park and Soundgarden growing up, so Cornell and Bennington both in the same year hit me, and I'm sure there are people who feel the same way about Peep. Rest in peace.

A very sad story, and a tragic waste of life.

Please avoid these wretched drugs.
