dont pass out bad advice whats wrong with you? if this kid posted asking this question seriously it SHOULD BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. i hate that you would brush off a semi-offhand plea for help.
grow the eff up.
That's not necessarily the case all the time. He just got the problem recently give him some time to figure out if it's a long term thing or just a phase before you go wanting to get him a therapist and drugging him up with meds that he doesn't need

This sounds like you are just going through a funk if you still feel this way all throughout the summer which I doubt you will then maybe you should seek some help.

I have that problem all the time. I just feel no reason to talk to people, so I normally don't. Back in the day I'd be at the mall, and just being around people was "social" to me. I won't talk to people for months and not even realize it. Then they come to me and they're like "man where have you been!" Or whatever. Something like that. I had 2 close friends who I hung out with all the time move down to Florida. I was upset for a few days, and haven't talked to them since. They're on my Facebook, but I just don't care. There's something wrong I imagine, but I'll get it fixed in time. Maybe this summer. I'm more bothered by my lack of focus.

lol I know that feeling and when I run into them and see them walking over to me I already know what they are going to say.

the current staff is completely mundane, I feel no urge to discourse with them (or intercourse with any of them)

Being a generally social person as you say you are, means that people find you easy to talk to. As such, I'd also assume that extends to them talking about their problems with you as well; a problem shared is a problem halved etc. But as we all know from our own lives, if you listen to other people's problems, you start to worry about these people. Too much of it can get you down, especially if you have alot of people telling their stuff.

If you need some time on your own because you are having trouble dealing with what people put on you, or just to gather your own thoughts, then take that time. Find someone that you can vent to as well, even if its people online like someone from this forum.
