that sounds like my dad. he has this joke that says, some gay men are born that way but the majority of them get sucked into it. i think it's hilarious, but i don't really care if guys are gay and want to dress up like chicks, as long as they aren't hitting on me.

These people are going away soon, and we're going to take control. Guess who won't be paying for a nice retirement home for her parents.

I guess it depends on whether there was a clause in there that made her specify if she was transgender (although that in itself is obviously a moral argument). If they just kicked her out just because she was transgender, that's clearly wrong.
