I was stoned about two months ago, and a commercial for starving children came on the air.

It was brought up by a friend of mine: "What if people don't need food to live? What if the fact that we eat is what ultimately kills us, and that all of those starving children are starving because their ancestors ate too much?"

It's highly improbable, but being stoned, it was horrific to think about.

Thats really cool actually, never thought of it that way. Like eating was some addiction or disease that we had to satisfy because of our ancestors'addiction.

A friend of mine once said, what if we don't need sleep? What if it was something our ancestors did when it was dark just to be safer. And now we feel we need it. lol

I realize it's the pot talking, but the logic that sleeping is safer seems a little weird to me. While asleep, you can't really defend yourself against an attack or move yourself out of harm's way so sleeping could be regarded as risky.

But you are somewhere elected safe, usually, somewhere where you are not out doing something like hunting or picking berries.
