Legitimately though I'm glad for the discourse. It's piqued my interest in philosophical theory for the first time in awhile and as a result am considering doing some more reading into these concepts. However many layers of "trolling" Frown is supposedly on, he's fun to debate.

Lol yeah, now that I think about it, I've never seen him back down on anything.

"They want me to apologize for being a monster, but nobody apologizes for making me this way."

Hate this one.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

While it's true that the way you are has a lot to do with how you grew up, and while it's true that one should probably often show some understanding for people who are under pressure, it is also the case that people use "this is just who I am" as an excuse to not even try to improve. And it annoys me to no end. There are people close to me who I'd like to confront about this, but I'm too much of a non-confrontational chicken to ever do that.

Just adding this bit of info that I found. Gonna have to check it out a bit closer to see if his way of laying this out fits with accepted understandings of these concepts:

Existentialism is the belief that through a combination of awareness, free will, and personal responsibility, one can construct their own meaning within a world that intrinsically has none of its own.
Nihilism is the belief that not only is there no intrinsic meaning in the universe, but that it’s pointless to try to construct our own as a substitute.
Absurdism is the belief that a search for meaning is inherently in conflict with the actual lack of meaning, but that one should both accept this and simultaneously rebel against it by embracing what life has to offer.

Without digging deeper, I'd say that this aligns well with how I've percieved things to have been laid out the various places in which I've encountered ideas of nihilism, existentialism and absurdism in writings, videos, etc. But I'm casually interested in these things and not a philosopher at heart.

Which is different from existentialism and nihilism how in exact terms?

That's what would be interesting to plot into that model above.

Hmm... not a very useful term then?

I can see that. I'd probably just refer to myself as an existentialist though.
