My name is a reference to the setting of the popular computer game Portal ^_^

I got my name from one of my old bands back in the day. We called our selves Psychedub Massive Crew, and before that it was Psychedubridiculicious. Try saying that 5 times fast haha

Circe was this magic lady in Greek mythology who messed Odysseus around by turning his men into animals so that she could trap him on her island and hopefully get the D from him in the process. I don't identify with her in any way but she's on of the few antagonists in the Odyssey that isn't a complete tosser and I figured I could probably confuse a few people by making my avatar a circle at a later date so I went for it.

My frIends have known me by Paul Smeenus as long or longer than many if not most of you have been alive.

How did the name come about mate?

That whole crowd, the men and the women (who were almost entirely strippers, we were after all in the strip club capital of the US, Portland OR) were all extremely wild and openly sexual. Every one and I mean every SINGLE one of those people had boinked someone in common with any other one of those people, with one glaring, uberconspicuous exception, me. I was SO timid compared to everyone else, the main thing I had in common with them was a. music appreciation, and b. drinking. Heavy emphasis on that last one. I was a raging alcoholic and could literally pound down beer as fast as you could pour it into a sink.

So one of the members of that entourage (who quite ironically was famously under endowed, much much less so than myself, not that ANYONE ever actually saw me) figured out that Paul Smeenus made for a pretty amusing spoonerism (although they didn't know there was a word describing that type of play-on-words) and called me that at a party. Everybody there fell over laughing, I was humiliated and mortified at first but I came to realize that it was meant with love and I couldn't overlook the fact that it was an extremely clever nickname. It stuck, and ever since George Sr. was President I've been known as Smeenus.

And no, I never did get laid in that crowd. And as to whether or not there's any truth to it, I'll never say.

Threw out my life time I had a handful of nicknames that folk's known me by. When it come to my Funkmaster title I change it back in late 2010 from Funkmaster Rio. Today I have two main titles: Funkmaster Red & OG Toonami faithful 44. That's right cat's been a loyal Toonami faithful since tha beginnin' in 1997. Been using this name in various places for a long time.

I have had this username-ish for a while now. Some years back I registered on an animation forum, and tried to take the username "Bricks", since lego was commonly used by people on it. It was already taken. A while later, i made a Minecraft account, and following in the same vein I tried to name my user "Bricksblocks". That was taken too, so by removing the C's I ended up with "Briksbloks". My name has a long story, its origins lie in rough stones that was carved smooth to perfection, thus my username was created.

Amandria/AwwSugar wanted to change her username so I suggested these two.

Although technically I'm Sansa Lannister now :(
