I already reached out, he has literally gone into hiding so I left it alone & like I said as far as I'm concerned this "friendship" is void, I'm just surprised of how little I could know about someone that was such a close friend.

I can't explain that - I was once engaged to someone I knew was a little bi-curious but he chose to cheat on me with a male escort as a way of coming out of the closet. (Ok, so I got a little mad because he cheated, but now I see that I should have seen it coming!)

Oh, that's kind of a drag. Maybe he felt intimidated? He might come back around eventually. Or maybe he felt guilty for not telling you? There are so many possibilities, but only he knows what's going on in his head. I'm sure he didn't mean to hurt anyone, and I'm also sure that he didn't mean any malice with his supposed deceit.

Just give it time. If he comes back around, that's fine. If not, that's ok too. Some people have different ways of coping with things (even things that others don't fully understand) and that's ok. Might as well give the guy some space; he seems pretty mixed up right now. Then again, what do I know? What does anyone know?

Because of people like you. I think he's better without your friendship, I know I would be. Someone coming out of the closet doesn't mean he's lied its just his sexuality which shouldn't affect your friendship because you're not his partner! Your friendship is not 100% fake because he didnt tell you that he was into guys. Its just one part of the relationship that he didnt feel you needed to know. Maybe you two were not as good of friends that you had thought you were. But it doesnt mean it was 100% fake.

I think your feelings are hurt more then anything and you dont know how to handle it.

Shrug it off and move on with your life. When he wants to tell you, if he wants to tell you, he will.

I called the other users a trolls b/c one made a silly reference about ***s & the other wanted to know what type of porn I watched, which has nothing to do w/ my thread. You on the other hand are not a troll, you're just an extremely sensitive user that views every word I type as a personal attack towards yourself. Thank god for your opinion as you know it's the first thing I think of when making an impt decision in my life.

& if you honestly believe that someone hiding their sexuality & pretending to be something they are not is normal, then you're excuse for "logic" is a silly & insane

Lol, my feelings aren't hurt, at this point this is more about me trying to figure out how I was so stupid that I didn't see that this guy was gay & I didn't know this person. To me this would be the equivalent of a parent never telling their kid that they are adopted & they found out from someone else, the point it makes you reexamine what you knew about this person & kills the trust & more than anything I dislike liars so there's no coming back.
And yes pretending to be straight is lying & if you disagree, fine, but to me it's abnormal.

Just a word of advice. Don't start a thread asking a question if you don't have the maturity to handle the fact that people might have a differing opinion to you, and don't label them trolls for expressing those opinions when you've asked people for them in the first place.

I labeled them trolls for expressing opinions that had nothing to do w/ the thread, as in calling all gays f*gs (& why is it that when I type *** it's censored, but it wasn't censored when someone else typed it) & asking me what type of porn I watched. If you're gonna give me an opinion & least comprehend what you read & relate it to the topic at hand, that goes for you too.

And aren't you that same mod that displayed your maturity by changing my sig & then did a screen shot of it, yeah I'll take maturity advice from a preemie in NICU b4 I take it from you. I've been in my group of 8 friends for 5 years now and only last year one of my best mates came out as a lesbian... Doesn't mean to say I know her any less because I thought she liked guys when she didn't.

as for your predicament... does it matter if he is gay, straight or purple? Because if it does then maybe you weren't a true friend to begin with.. I am not trying to be a douche wand here... I am just pointing out that maybe your weren't dudes first choice... of people to come out to because your reaction would be well narrow minded... it's not like he came out on national tv and you caught the rerun six months later...
