Her comment doesn't have to be related to the pics posted plus she said she loves guys with facial hair so even if she was talking about the pics. She'd be talking about the guy from True Blood and not Marky Mark

Women have a higher ratio of body fat to muscle than men, and it's harder for women to build muscle. So men spend hours at the gym pumping iron, but it probably takes an equal amount of time for a woman to lose the extra pounds.

Dont forget the female body is designed to keep fat on for reproduction purposes.

Yes I know. The body fat to muscle mass distinction between the sexes also goes back to when humans were living in hunter-gatherer societies - men were the ones who chased down the food and would have to be strong enough to run for many, many miles. So in a woman's primitive mind (or "lizard brain"), a man who looks like he can run for miles and lift hunted animals for food is attractive. Just like in a man's primitive mind, a woman who is curvy or "plump" (for lack of a better term) - and NOT a twig - is a good candidate for mating and breeding purposes. The primitive brain still plays a huge role in what kind of people you are attracted to, mostly for reproductive reasons (i.e. who will pass on the best genes to my offspring so they can survive).

Then you have girls like Vanilla who will never have to do any work but will remain gorgeous sexy and attractive well into her sixties or seventies. (If I catch the person making throwing-up noises, well, there's just gonna be some pain, is all I can say!)

As for me, I'm skinny as a rake but in no way attractive. Nine stone all my life, skinny arms and legs, bockety teeth and glasses, receding hairline and all the sexual attraction of an alsatian after a headswap operation. Sure what woman could resist me?

That is all changed with a little work mate. In 6months to a year you could make your body entirely different. I used to be 6'1" at 135. I am now 195 and in way better shape which happened in about 2 years. Never too late to start my main man Trolldaddio.

Building muscle is a very slow process though and you need some knowledge of how it works and how to build a routine plus a decent understanding of nutrition. Fat is only difficult to lose when you're sub 10% ish as the body starts to cling to the little it's got left. If someone is already obese it's pretty quick and very easy, you'll probably drop a stone without even exercising just making simple changes in your lifestyle

It's very difficult and time consuming to get sub 10% and be built like the guy in the OP.

The reason why people and in particular women (not even sexist just telling the truth tbh) struggle is because they constantly try to shortcut the whole thing and drop 5 dress sizes in 30 seconds, lose 20 stone by eating cake, chocolate and burgers 6 times a day etc... and also thinking that fat is the enemy, plus the whole 'toned' thing. I blame the media/magazines.
