My friend Jon is the same way, I can't ignore the vocals and lyrics altogether. That's why I can't get into a lot of new Rap because a lot of the lyrics make no sense and are just wack in general. I like the beats usually but the vocal delivery and lyrics bug me too much.

I like to know the lyrics. Especially to catchy songs where I want to sing along but don't know the words so I end up guessing and changing it to the worst song ever.
