Would you say that you see the bitch in him?

I would say nothing that implies that he is anything other than authentic and courageous. I wouldn't call him a fraudulent coward, nor a duplicitous poltroon, nor a fake pussy. I would say I see a hard working mod that never gets the respect that he deserves and it's about time he does. And I don't think he even needs the krabby patty formula to run a successful business.

Funny, you say I'm a hard working mod when I haven't done anything mod-related for over a year now. Not that you would know that though. I asked to be unmod'ed a long time ago, but they have me on lockdown. I only took on being a mod because I wanted see the inner workings of what goes on when one becomes one. It was purely just curiosity, not because I wanted to play the part of being mediator to all the drama around here. I hate being that guy. I am not mod material, but I try to maintain a level of respect for the position. Being a mod, while having a musical presence and, at the same time, having to ban people trying to get their music noticed goes completely against the grain of what I'm about. It's been a struggle.

*looks wistfully away*

I wonder if JWB can still see the bitch in me.

It's funny you say that, Plank, because that was my logic when I became a mod at my Writing Forum. I guess I've always have been a curious person. Weirdly, though, I did end up becoming a mediator of sorts over there. Yeah, it does suck having to ban or discipline people sometimes, but sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.

I just don't care enough about other peoples drama on the internet to feel like I need to intervene. I get plenty of that irl.

Tfw you find a Lord Byron article/book you haven't seen before:

Quote:

... The heart of Percy Bysshe Shelley was famously plucked from the flames of his funeral pyre on a beach near Viareggio and squabbled over by Leigh Hunt and Edward Trelawny, the former wishing to preserve it in a jar of wine, and the latter wanting to present it to Shelley’s widow, Mary, who eventually kept it in a drawer of her writing table. Lord Byron had wanted to keep Shelley’s skull, but Trelawny, “remembering he had previously used one as a drinking cup,” only preserved a fragment of it, which is now in the possession of the Pforzheimer Collection of the New York Public Library. It looks exactly like a piece of dried leaf.
If you aren't going to preserve my heart in a jar of wine after I die, then don't even talk to me.

I know how that goes. It only holds so much vodka before it's just pointless and you realize you haven't shit in 14 hours.

Have you read a lot of books Chiomara?

and im sorry for referring to you as "Chio".

I suppose so-- as many as my crippling lifelong ADHD will allow, anyway.

And "Chio" is fine, don't worry about it.
