Well, I don't know you but I think you have a great choice of username which also tells me you like some good music as well. So there's that.

TFW you call people on here nobody's when you want to talk to someone. Sweetheart, there are some great people on here, you just have to get to know them and then they won't be "nobodies". There's no shame in getting close to people online.

To be honest, I find the internet to be much safer than meeting people in real life. Not saying a face to face conversation with someone is bad, but when you talk to people online, you are in the safety of your own home or office and you can Skype and email etc etc. It can be risky, but i've never really been at risk in my personal experiences.

I mean, meeting a new person in real life could be scary especially if they want to stab you for no reason whatsoever.

I find it's certainly easier to get to know someone online because it cuts out the nervousness of face to face chat and horrible small talk. It also gives you time to figure out if the person is even worth getting to know. I am a very confident person but when it comes to guys I get so fecking nervous in real life. Like guys who want to get with me make it too intense and don't give me a chance to just get to know them and decide if they are someone I would like to date. They expect you to be instantly attracted to them and worry about personality later. It's really awkward when you meet a guy who's keen when you know you're not and you have to gently let them know you're not interested but also not lead them on.

The other part that is awkward about meeting someone in real life and you don't hit it off right away is knowing that you may see that person again since you both live in the same area. Online you can just cut someone out and you may never even see or hear from them again.

Oh yeah I've experienced that plenty times before. I live in a country where it's like 2 degrees of separation and even in a city of 1.5 million you still run into people you know.

I don't know what i'd do in that type of situation. I'd just give a simple hello and wave and walk off as quick as possible before they realize who I am. Although I do that when people look at me funny, even if I don't know them. I'm a weird person.
