I don't know the OP or anything about them. But under the presumption that they are maybe somewhat struggling with depression, I don't see why it's difficult for others to wrap their head around why kissing a lot of people is not such a great thing, or why it would maybe even make one feel worse.

Meaningless encounters with perfect strangers can be fine, if you are comfortable with that just the way it is. Not if you are looking or longing for something with meaning though. And if that is the case then getting laid really wouldn't help matters at all.

Anyway, as I said, I don't know the OP. I'm probably way off the mark. But if that is the case, it's not a such a strange way to feel.

Dude, I understand why kissing alot of people isn't a good thing for some people... Myself included, it's kinda like being depressed and eating a slice of cake, and then another, and then another, then you try and hang yourself from the blinds because you are ashamed of what you did...
( Don't judge me..)

He can look at it from the glass is half full perspective and maybe it will get him out of the funk... He can't change what when down on the lips of 100 English women but he can at least spin in his favor for later use... :P

In all seriousness though, I totally do understand his frustrations...

But if they are depressed then that isn't necessarily possible. Changing your perspective or point of view isn't necessarily so easy, or potentially not enough.

Anyway, I'm just saying I'd understand if that is the case. I'm not surprised it wouldn't help.

Even though you don't feel it emotionally, getting laid will help because it releases endorphins
