Pickles are great, the only downside is that sometimes the pickle juice can make your mayonnaise (or whatever condiment) runny and if the sandwich is stored long enough, the bread can get soggy.

Made some chicken fettuccine alfredo for dinner tonight, which was a nice refreshing breather from all the spicy stuff that we've been having lately.

I love spicy food, but the older I get the worse my tolerance for it gets. My partner on the other hand is still an absolute fiend for hot sauce and seems to have some kind of invincible superhuman stomach. I feel like an old granny dining on bran and prunes in comparison.
