Beer drinking: a silly immature hobby

BEER.

what is it about beer that really attract people? why do we need beer? to prove we're the most machoist people in America? aren't there other forms of activity or snacks that make us enjoy watching sporting events or concerts. whats wrong with water or tea or milk? has Beer always been our Religion? I see America's machismo and machismo-nette(Macho Lady) wearing hats and shirts of their favorite beer brands(Bud Light, Miller, XX, etc), like if they're considered them as their imaginary pro team more important their real favorite sports team.

I don't drink the kind of beer you named and I don't understand the appeal of slamming a 30pack of piss water, but I enjoy my weekly six packs of micro brews and I don't consider that masochistic.

Alcohol has deep roots in US history so it's natural for our culture to be interested in it.

I love food and drinks in general. I am always happy to try new coffee, wine, tea, etc.

Getting ****ed up is its own reward.

Very true. That's why I drink bourbon.

Anyhoo... SPORTS

what is it about sports that really attract people? why do we need sports? to prove we're the most machoist people in America? aren't there other forms of activity or snacks that make us enjoy drinking alcohol. whats wrong with concerts or hanging out with friends or just getting drunk alone? have sports always been our Religion? I see America's machismo and machismo-nette(Macho Lady) wearing hats and shirts of their favorite sports team, like if they're considered them as their imaginary pro team more important their real favorite alcohol.

Are there any other beverage choices that make you go to the internet to rant because I find this very interesting.

The Batlord 09-20-2014 08:30 PM

**** Gatorade.

Exo 09-20-2014 08:34 PM

Vitamin water has like no healthy benefits over Gatorade. I hate how they advertise that ****. What is wrong with this country? Our society is shewed through ignorant eyes.

But it has "vitamin" in the name. They can't put that on there if it doesn't make you skinny.

this is more or less what i was going to come in here and say....although wife and child beating and rapist who are treated like heroes would have ended up in my diatribe

so being a beer drinker....and i mean a real beer drinker....as in i had no problem at all dropping $100 on three 11 oz bottles and drank all three with a huge smile.....such a big smile that i called three people while drinking them

and just for the record that beer came from Belgium

so there is that.....what's with the whole "America" bullshit

so just going on the fact that i hope you are not so ethnocentric that you think America created everything

beer was not at all created in America....nor was it at all perfected....although in my opinion a good Pacific Northwest IPA will blow any English IPA out of the water.....again just a tasteful opinion...matter of fact the US ranks 14 in the most beer consumed per capita (2012)

and just for the record i am 6'1 and weigh 135 lbs (in other words i look like an AIDS or Cancer patient) and i cry hard at romantic comedies and most Disney films....and that commercial when the little girl is painting the toe nails of her Great Dane....the only sporting event i watch is the Tour De France....and i drink well over two case of beer a week

and at this exact moment i am wearing a shirt with a snail on it :)

macho as fuck
