Can everyone lay of BD, she doesn't have to adopt, no matter how badly you wish people would adopt more. She doesn't have to justify her decision. What I think she's meaning is, there's something really special about not only carrying out a pregnancy yourself but having a child that has you and your partners genes. I am actually an advocate for adoption and would consider it myself if it turns out I'm infertile (a possibility) and I decide I want children.

I agree with BD. I'd rather unleash my own biology project on the world and see how it competes than help someone else with theirs.
