It's really easy to judge genuine reactions from folks and those "just trying to be nice". I had people asking me to print them copies to give to their friends.

At that time I was absorbing King, Koontz, Straub, McCammon, and Barker. I'd already been through all of the classics but the new breed really hit home with me.

I don't have the same brain I had 30 years ago. I guess I could give it a try. I've had an idea for a cool horror story floating around in my brain for a long time.

I have one that I'd put in but I've already talked about it and posted the first little bit so it wouldn't anonymous if that's necessary. Doing two already and I don't really wanna start a new one.

It'd be cool if you started a new one. I'd like to see what kind of writing you can do on the fly, under pressure. But if you want to submit one that you've already been working on, and have posted bits of it on MB in the past, that's fine too, even if it isn't 100% anonymous.
