The class started, we are 8 in it, two of us were drunk and 4 were high... the other 2 are just losers.

Then after Uni, we went to another pub, and another drinking session.q

Fun day.
How I miss uni!

Yeah, Uni's a fun place to go... plus got promised some pot.

Slight boakage with the sambuca... massive boakages are usually triggered by tequila shots

Today was a very nice Solstice. After finishing up grading at home, I took my child to work with me and submitted grades for students, while my child played games on the office computer. I'm glad the semester is over and there is a break.

Then we went sledding on lovely hills where I sledded as a child. I noticed I have more "floaters" in my eyes...they really show up against the white snow and white sky. That was disturbing, but I was happy to be alive sledding down a hill with my child. When I was his age on those hills, I never imagined being there with my own child years later.

Finally, we put together a gingerbread house (from a kit). We haven't done a lot of activities together recently due to school/work, so it was nice to have a day where we spent time together doing fun activities.

I must say, that is a very, very ominous sounding post. What do the floaters in your eyes mean? Hope everything's okay.

I went to the Redskins game today, it was horrible and embarrassing. Came home and went to bed, now sadly I'm awake again. Strangely enough, I just realized I had a nightmare for the first time in god knows how long (I think it's actually been since I was scared of monsters when I was a little kid).

This place is very well hidden, so much so its located on a street im on a hell of a lot and i've never noticed it before and is much more a place to dance than drink, so its more of an arts centre than a bar. This may have something to do with why i kind of just assumed that everyone there was much, much older than us but wasnt really paying attention. I was just sitting, talking, drinking, watching two mates of mine dance with each other drunk, bringing down the tone of the place, and trying to work out which one was meant to be the man and which one was the woman and all of a sudden I realised that the place is FULL with stunning women. I mean, to the fucking brim. It has to be considered to be Newcastles biggest kept secret I feel.
About 4 years ago I took a trip to NYC for a show. After, I had met a dude at the hotel pool and asked him to buy me some booze. Turns out he was some pro baseball player and he took me to almost the exact same thing you went to. We went to either Jersey City or Newark. Parked down some dark alley and walked into this little hole in the wall spot. It was a little salsa club, but completely packed. He lead me through the crowd, and to the bar. He talked to the bartender in spanish for a bit then they started feeding me tons of booze. I had no idea what I was doing, but was getting down with so many gorgeous Latino girls. I was the only white one there. I will never be able to find that place again, so Ill hit you up if I'm ever in your neighborhood.

Oh yeah: and today sucked I hate the snow.

Well I actually watched a British movie about that exact thing. It's always the Salsa clubs in the dark alleys, didn't think it was true outside of movies.

I didn't do much of anything.
But my stomach hurts. Again.
And so do my eyes.
And last night ended up being horrible, because everyone who wasn't there was causing some sort of drama with the people who were there.
Rich's girlfriend was cursing at me.
And I don't even know.
I just want to go back to school.

I guess today's night can be summarized this way:

8 people entering a pub ==> came out, 3 couples + 2
It is just weird, all my friends have hooked up with each other.

But I guess my day would really be:

_ 1 glass of wine
_ 1 joint (my first)
_ 1 moment of Paranoia after seeing a seemingly police intelligence car
_ 4 beers
_ 1 pack of ciggies

Well, a weird day all in all, didn't make much sense. Will be seeing you in a hangover.
Cheers.
