Why does it take me several hours to finish a single cup of coffee/tea?? Every day I do this. I've probably microwaved it four times now.

I looked up how much computers for a 2010 Nissan Sentra and I could get a new one for less than $200. So what the fuck? I got my car out of there and now I' searching for a new mechanic. my uncle says he knows this good guy. So I'm taking it there tomorrow and i'm really gonna find out what's wrong with the car. Never has someone been so blatant with their scam that lying sack of mexican horseshit.

you should enquire as to where he's getting the replacement from, there's always cheaper alternatives but there's also oem parts. what he's quoting you out at probably isn't the same cheap aftermarket part you found online. just a heads up for future times.

also ^ this

ecm isn't a very common issue, and for a 2010 nissan it certainly seems like a slightly strange diagnosis. might not hurt to have a second look by someone else.

lol I do the same thing, although it's more because I can't remember where I left it and it's an out of sight/out of mind issue. 9/10 I've left it in the microwave.

I'm the exact opposite. The moment it's cool enough to drink it goes down my throat faster then a gold digger goes down on a rich guy.

You're that person!

Me trying to cook food in the microwave at work:

Ok, who's coffee is this?

*silence*

Will it turn over but not crank or not turn over at all? Does anything turn on, lights and ****?

May sound obvious but don’t tell the second guy the original diagnosis.

It cranks, but it doesn't start. The lights on my dash light up. So it's not the battery. It's not my fuel tank. I just have no idea. It's been blistering cold lately and maybe that's a factor, but it's killing me with stress because i hate having to rely on my buddies for work, even though they're more than generous.

Justthefacts 01-18-2018 04:11 PM

Or maybe it is my fuel tank, in which case i seriously hope so. That's whatever. Computer though, I highly doubt it.

Yes this hits home

Edit to clarify that yes, I used to leave my mug all over the office, but I always cleaned it at the end of the day. I'm not an *******.

Exo 01-18-2018 04:22 PM

I like to make a cup of coffee, get impatient because it takes more than 7 seconds, walk away, then forget it exists for an hour.

I drink a lot of cold coffee this way.

Chiomara 01-18-2018 04:29 PM

That's why I tend to prefer cold brewed coffee. Tastes nice at any temperature.

No, I thought about it. I doubt that's it. But I suppose I'll try it tonight. If you're right about this, check your DM's later. I'll leave you a surprise.

I just fell over while getting out of my chair because I forgot I still had my resistance band thingy around my ankles. This is why I have 18345 bruises at all times.

Punching my (super strong and definitely not weak and noodle-like) arm just activates my powered chainsaw exoskeleton!

Why did you have a resistance band around your ankles?

Totally random anecdote time.

Before I came to MB. I used a different Username for all the sh*tty boards I was part of. Name? Mr. Chainsaw.

Chainsaw Exoskeleton is like a two word summary of my online existence.

Exo 01-19-2018 10:03 AM

Fridays have become my stay home all day and do nothing day. I have work at 7am Sat mornings so f*ck going out. I have to be up at 5:30am. Looks like I'll get some albums written up in my top 50 journal and actually be active on the boards.

You guys ever want me to do mod stuff, PM me on a Friday.

Yes we did. Purevolume was cool but I miss the nostalgia of being a 15 year old emo kid with no real responsibilities hanging out at the mall on Friday and Saturdays. Purevolume and Myspace bands were sooooooooo cool back then.

I just use it for exercise purposes. I had put it on intending to do my leg warmups right away but then immediately got distracted and sat down at my desk instead (this happens constantly)

TFW your first forum was a Pokemon forum in the late 90s and you thought that you had to use your mother's internet handle to register an account but you soon changed that, but forums were so new that you didn't even get **** for being such an ignorant plebe. I even asked my mom if I could join the forum.

First REAL internet handle btw was "Tenryuu".

It was the Wild West, bro. When they told you to ask your parents to visit a site you actually thought it was a valid suggestion.

Chiomara 01-19-2018 01:50 PM

My first forums were sims related ones back in 2000/2001, plus this one corny ~girlz only~ type forum where I somehow became the designated dream interpreter (tfw you lose your dumb little dream interpreter job because you tried to catfish the older 18 year old moderator by pretending to be a 17 year old ballerina heiress exiled in Romania for witch crimes) My mom had all of these extremely irritating parental control programs installed that needlessly blocked so many sites; I'd have to use msconfig to disable them (and renable them later that night) every single day just so that I could access all my stupid websites.

Also, I never really got into Neopets, but I remember the Neopets forums back then were incredible. It truly was the Wild West.

The Batlord 01-19-2018 02:06 PM

TFW All Your Base Are Belong to Us was the cutting edge of memes and you were already a jaded net vet.

Memories.

Exo 01-19-2018 02:06 PM

My first forum was called Westcoaster. I was like REALLY into rollercoasters when I was a kid. I used to know stats ad sh*t. Had a f*cking notebook cataloging every ride in every park worldwide. I still have it somewhere.

Anyway, Westcoaster was a forum for west coast parks. I grew up east coast. I wasn't there long.
