Also, my room windows were open all night. I'm freezing and I can't be bothered to close them. My bed is too warm and cosy, except my feet, which are extremely cold.

I came home and did the dishes. There are no windows in my kitchen so after being in there for like 20 minutes I'm dripping sweat and my hair is soaked and plastered to my head. So attractive. Gotta love when it's so hot and humid out you start sweating 5 minutes after you get out of the shower. Luckily for me I have air conditioning at work but my students still always complain. According to turks air conditioning will kill you, having a fan on at night will make you stop breathing, drinking really cold water will kill you, deodorant gives you cancer, going outside with wet hair will kill you, and using a cell phone on the bus will make the brakes stop working. (That last one had nothing to do with the hot weather but it's still funny.)

do you remind the people who tell you about how all these things will kill you that breathing will also someday eventually kill them?

Took her out on a surprise morning picnic in the boat and drove off to these cliffs by the sea where we had a breakfast on a sunny little mountain top with a gorgeous view. I wanted to propose to her by the sea in the place I'm from, so that was perfect.

After that, I rehearsed for a concert we're playing with our folky shanty band on friday. We have this red little boathouse we play guitar in. Then, me and a mate from the band took the boat out to fish a bit before the sun went down. The ocean was quiet and the skies were amazing .. didn't even look real, looked more like a painting. Just before sunset, it was all vivid colours and there was a cloud in front of the sun, but huge shafts of sunlight was piercing through it here and there.

And we saw dolphins, although they didn't jump or anything. That's a rare sight down here. I also caught a bit of fish, 9 mackerels and this other strange thing I don't know what's called in english. Gave 5 away and then me and the GF had the other 4 for supper, just fried in the pan with a bit of lemon, salt, pepper and parsley.

Pretty close to a perfect day

Just out of curiosity what kept that from being a perfect day?

In any case congratulations

Well, I just started using their service but I don't think they monitor what you download unless you're under investigation from authorities and your records get pulled or something.
Interesting question though. I might do some research about it.

@ Tore:
Congrats!

Hope you'll still be as prolific here after you've got the old ball N chains riding your ass all day.

No, they monitor. I've been shut down twice for using BT. Just a heads up, be careful.

I was alone in the office today, so I used my mouse-mat as a pillow and slept for 3 hours on the desk. Good day. 7.5/10
