Tbh, this sounds like my own tailor-made hell. =\
It's amazing that you made it through, I know I couldn't.

Today is my birthday. It was just like any other day, and I am satisfied with that. I actually didn't think about it until this morning when I got a phone call. That is the part that sucks, is being so far into the normal groove of life, going to work and doing the exact same **** all the time that frustrates, yet motivates me, that you don't even remember your own b-day. I decided today that if something extremely awesome doesn;t happen by my next birthday, I'm going radical and will have a well thought out plan to rob a bank, or something of the sort. I'm not satisfied with a mediocre life, and it took me 24 years to realize how much I don't care about money, that this is how this piss poor nation is operated. I'll drink until I puke over the next few hours, then wake up at 6am and become one of billions that carries on going to work, living paycheck to [paycheck, dreaming of winning the lottery and having a lavish lifestyle, never being truly happy, then eventually dying off as another generation of robots is born. I would really like to live in a blue collar world, where the people's voice is actually heard, and not represented by poverty stricken minorities' vote or white collar ideas. I apologize for the rant, I'm half in the bag and have to pee real bad, but there are no BP representatives nearby.

Today could be my lucky day... but it's morelikely to just be average and I am ok with that! Work this afternoon, you know the drill, don't really wanna go / it will probably suck... but at least I get to relax this morning!

new turkish visa law states that once your 3 month visa runs out, you have to remain out of the country for three months before you can apply for a new visa. This is going to REALLY make things interesting for about 70% of the foreigners teaching english here who stay for their full year-two year contracts by popping in and out of the country every three months and getting new tourist visas. Tons of my friends are having to make some serious decisions about staying here. Luckily for me I'm not affected. It's been an interesting day; i've had about 8 frantic phone calls so far along the lines of "ok what the F*CK is the deal with the new visa law!"
