What brings you there?
I've worked at most all the oil refineries on the Gulf Coast ports between Baton Rouge and Houston Texas, mainly for the reason I have clearance through Homeland Security.
Our company is based in White Castle, Louisiana. I usually go to New Orleans or Houston on the weekends. I just love the state of Louisiana! maybe I will see ya there sometimes , the Mardi Gra will be starting soon, I was there last year while working in New Orleans, Bourbon Street was just as crowded as the Mardi Gra was, when the Saints won the superbowl last year, Ohhh the memories..(And its a new year!) LSU is also one of my fav. college teams.

Ah I see.
Well, you probably won't see me in New Orleans on Mardi Gras, that's for sure. The crowds and everything they drag along with them are too ridiculous for me these days.

So you guys actually have a normal workload in the oilfield at the moment? I keep hearing different things about it but it's usually coming from a politically charged source, so I dunno...

I was at West Deptford, New Jersey working for Sunoco last year, the plant was given 4 million dollars to shut down and go idle by the government, for an undetermined or specified amount of time. For the reason, so EPA wouldn't come in and apply major fines $$$$$. 2,500 people were employed at the refinery, and I watched 300 of them walking out the gate blowing air horns, on their last day of employment. A lot of them had been employed there since they graduated high school or college. Well..I could ramble on & on. It was a sad thing to see. Last I heard, a source based out of Egypt may resume the takeover and everyday running of the plant and port.

Its such an inconvenience, I have my work colleagues giving me shifts through facebook and such. Its balls. Miss the comfort of it also. Sounds ridiculous that I'm so dependant on a mobile :\

My... night.
This is what it looked like outside when I opened my curtains:

Yeah.
Had 14 hours of sleep tonight.
Hadn't slept the night before. Airbed went empty.

Rehearsals were funny. My character is basically the gayest character imaginable.

I thought nurses were supposed to put you at ease.

Today I had to go for a blood test, here's a section of the conversation between me & the nurse......

Her - 'How good are you with needles & injections'

Me - 'Pretty good really, they don't normally bother me'

Her - 'Well that's because you've not seen the size of this one'

Me - ''

What a bitch, even nurses have it in for me now
