Is it weird that I read that in an Asian accent? Like, I did all the vocal stretches and everything. My imagination is a pro.

Malay is pretty flat and guttural

there are hardly "tones"

i'd say the Cantonese dialect of Chinese is the hardest to learn - it has 9 tones

use the wrong tone and the listener will be very offended

use the wrong tone for "fried crab" and it comes out as "smelly cunt"

Worked twleve hours today after someone called in and they needed a hero. I stepped up the plate. Screamed my lungs out "singing" along to music on the way back home. I'm tied, but it was a good day all in all.

If I called a woman a fried crab anywhere else but in Louisiana, I'd expect resistance.
But here, fried softshell crab is a delicacy, and it would only mean that she is f*cking delicious as f*ck
