I've spent my today in the sunshine and good weather. It got up to 86 degrees Fahrenheit. 86 DEGREES! Just three days ago, I was calling off work because of snow, ice, and it being too cold for the salt to actually melt said ice. Now, I'm sweating in a t-shirt.

Same here. I guess we must live relatively close.

Today, while digging through my wallet, I had to stop and admire my health, vision, and dental insurance cards, my debit card, and my AAA card. This might seem pretty average and normal, but considering where I was less than a year ago, this is a monumental achievement. I feel like I've finally got my life back together. I remember times where I tried and it seemed irreparably damaged, but things are going good.

Today I also got to enjoy driving from one end of a tornado warning to another to get to work, during the exact window of maximum warning. That was fun. Really, though, it was just a lot of rain, and a little bit of minor hydroplaning. No hail, even.

Also, there is a man who has showed up at my work and moved into an office adjacent to my cubicle who looks EXACTLY like Lance Storm. I've stared at him when he wasn't paying attention. It really is uncanny. He could be his twin. He's approximately the same height and musculature as well, so I have to wonder if Lance Storm has secretly moved from Canada to work for a cellular phone company in the states.

I feel your pain. I caught something the other day that's somewhere between a cold and the flu, and I spiked a 110 fever from it. (don't know how I didn't die)

This comes after years of thinking that never getting sick meant anything other than I was just a lucky motherf*cker.

Maybe it's Henry Rollins?
