No. It isn't. It really isn't.

I've got a summer job at my LFS. When's the last time you got to feed a shark at Comic-Con?

That last panel is so... awkward.

Working two full time jobs is killing me. I went to work today and I can't remember anything that happened, just that some brownies were overdone. I took them home for this recipe I saw online. But yeah... I'm putting my notice in at the old place on Sunday. I've been done with that gig for so long but was stuck there for financial reasons. Now I have a better job with people that I understand and feel comfortable around who don't make bigoted jokes and bark like dogs at their friends. It's been pretty cool but I'm coming across like a total slackoff deadweight because I can't preform as well as I could. It's not even that difficult. ramblerambleramble

Today was OK.

Did my morning routine on wakeup. Was unusually tired as hell... no matter.. Gotta go to work. It was the first time in 2 years I actually stopped and got coffee to drink during the drive, rather than just getting free coffee at work.

Plethora of technical issues I still had pending. Needed to close them out before the weekend. Did so. However, it was (previously hinted at, but confirmed today) made known to me that basically my Christmas week would be destroyed possibly, because we've a deal with BP in Trinidad and we're flying out our absolute worst technician to do installs, so I do expect many calls while unwrapping presents. Fortunately there's only a two-hour time difference between my location and remote. Otherwise it would be extra fucky.

Anyway, the CEO left at lunch, so we (the development department) decided to convince our boss that it was totally a 3:30 day, and of course, she was all for it. She has four kids. What mom doesn't need that extra 30 minutes? So yea, today was hectic, but ended sooner than usual and I get to relax a bit before next week.

Good times.
