^saw that on the news this am. Looked pretty bad from the 100 flames shooting out of the roof of that building.

My day? Snow. More effing snow. I'm not putting this in the bitch box because well, it's pretty much a given that from the moment I wake up, until the moment I close my eyes at night, I'm going to be cold, wet, and feel the crunch of frozen H2O under my boots. Just another fucking day in paradise.

That's the problem with those fires. You have a brick outer structure filled with aged and dry wood. Basically one big well fed chimney.

Google image "Malden Mills Fire" and check out the pics. That happened in my old home town and was one of the worst fires in Mass history.

Some nasty stuff.

I design/build fire training structures/props etc., and work with fire fighters every day to evolve and improve the training for these guys. I've got a few stories to tell.

It was so cold that winter and the FFs fought the fire for so long that some of the hoses were so encased in ice by the end of it all they couldn't retrieve them until the spring thaw.

i have a strange co-worker that reminds me of a robot. he walks and moves really stiffly. he's skinny as **** and he has a thin face with glasses, giving him a sort of naturally nerdy look, but he does body building so he's ripped at the same time.

he's like a ripped skinny person. and he wears muscle shirts and **** to show off his physique, but it's really quite funny looking to me cause he's so thin. and he just walks around like this stiff robot all the time, he reminds me a lot of one of those terminator robots.

and his personality also makes me suspect he's a robot, because he just acts so strange. every time he says something to me it's something strange/awkward.

the other day he came over to me and was like "bbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrreak time." cause it was break time. and i was like yea i know. i'm always aware when it's break time.

but then he just said it again like that. "bbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrreak time." and i was like yea i heard you, i know it's break time. but then he did it again. and i was like yea i don't know exactly what you're doing lol. and then he did it again like that, "bbbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrreak time." and i just looked at him like wtf.

and then he was like "rrrrrrrrape time." and i was like "did you say rape time?" and he was like "bbbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrreak time." and i was like "are you saying break time or rape time?" and he kept doing it a few more times but he'd alternate between "break time" and "rape time."

i can't tell if he's permanently trolling or just has an odd personality. i honestly do suspect he's a secret robot who's maker skimped on the software tbh

the first time i met him he kept saying something along the lines of "i'm just sat in cancun, drinking mai tais, girls in bikinis"

and the other day he came up to me out of nowhere and was like "you have a justin beiber haircut." and i was like lol well i just haven't cut my hair in a while, it's not an actual haircut. and he was like "no, you have a justin beiber haircut." and i was like alright then

Sounds to me like he's self conscious and nervous, and lacks people skills. Gotta have a little more patience with those kind of folk.

he strikes me as the type who was dealt the genes of a nerd but refuses to accept that lot in life. so he does body building and **** to compensate and then puts on a sort of front, hence the robotic walking and movements. but i can't help but find the **** entertaining. honestly i like him just for that reason alone.

one time at lunch i was talking to everyone at the table about the los zetas cartel and how cut throat they are. and nobody had heard of them. and i was like you ever watch gangland? and he was like "no, i have better things to do with my time." and i was like "like what?" and he was like "spend time with my dog." i could hardly hold it in.
