Yeah, I'm done with that sh*t. It affected my depression to the point of having suicidal thoughts. My father is still chronically depressed because of it. I had to lock my bedroom when I went to take a piss. I had to hide my checkbook, wallet, valuable possessions, and my car keys. I'm never doing that again, ever. I made a promise to myself.

If my friend admits he has a problem and wants help, I'll drive him to f*cking rehab if I have to. I don't just abandon my friends. I abandon toxic poison because my life is too short to have it ruined by selfish drug addicts who can't admit they have a problem because of their pride or need to get high.

By the way, I'm not offended. I just need to be REAL clear that i'm not somebody that just abandons their friends and family. I'll toss your ass to the curb if all I see in you is a cancer.

Exo I dealt with the same dilemma, brothers taking all my money, all my moms jewelry, our little sisters babysitting money. He'd pawn my bass guitar and get it back for me 2 months later only to take it again within a week to pawn. All I'm trying to say is people who have this disease will lie and cheat and steal to get a high. It's horrible, we did everything we could to convince him to stop and start to give a shit again, but it was too late. And persistence couldn't quite help us out in our situation, but that's not to say you can't make a difference in your friend/brother (not so sure who it is) because the moment you see the person dead in a hospital bed you're gonna wish you did more. Especially if this person means something to you. It won't be easy, but if you aided in helping someone come back to reality and get clean, I'm sure that feeling would be rewarding. Don't give up hope friend.

Bringing a relationship question to MB for the first time ever so don't get irritated:

Went to an underground/secret show in a warehouse with limited invitations tonight. I brought my bf, who caught a bad vibe off some dude there who he thought was an undercover cop or something. I busted out a nug and some papers at one point and asked if someone would roll a joint. My bf was acting weird and wouldn't hit it when it was being passed around, and later I pulled him aside and asked what was going on. He told me he thought we were being set up and explained his reasoning and was like "uhh ok why would you not tell me that before I smoked a ****ing joint with some dude you think is sketchy?!"

Settle this for me. Am I in the wrong to think that is ****ed up? Like why wouldn't he try to signal me or some ****? Why would he be down with letting me take the fall? Or is he right in saying he was just paranoid and trying to get a read on the dude before he reacted one way or another?

Dude ain't it decriminazed in Cali? And uh undercovers in my experience only care if its a little more then a nug. They will usually break yer pipe and step on yer smoke.
As to why he didn't signal you or tell you what was up only he really knows.But a hint would have been helpful, yes.

Well, there's your answer. The guy probably was an undercover cop, but he got distracted before he could make his move!

In all seriousness, I wouldn't go too hard on your boyfriend. He probably just got a case of the "action movies", and figured that he would watch the guy and wait for him to make a move, so he could dramatically swoop in and save you from being arrested. Or maybe the second-hand weed smoke made him paranoid. Although, you might be right, he might just be a bit of a coward, or doesn't react/think well in what he perceives to be dangerous situations.
