Doing nothing but record divulging and drinking whisky cider.

THAT WAS THE LONGEST DAY OF MY LIFE.

Well, first, I was walking to school and I may or may not have been distracted by a passing cyclist. Well, the pavement on the street was uneven so that meant that I was in serious danger of falling, and as you may have guessed, I did indeed fall, and of all of the possible places I could have fallen, I fell into a rosebush. My arm was exposed so I had cuts all down my arm and when I got into the school the teachers freaked out. They brought me to the office and sprayed bactine all over my arm. I wore my sweater sleeves down all day to hide the cuts on my arms, and the fabric kept touching the cuts on my arms, so it hurt very badly. I had to go to math, and my (male) friend decided that it was a good idea to wear a pink leotard and a tutu to school. Unfortunately, I'll never be able to unsee that. After seeing my friend in a tutu, we were walking down the halls together and that bro I like thought I was nuts because I hung out with a leotard-wearing weirdo. After that, some seventh grader down in the seventh grade wing was crying over something stupid so the teacher came to the other teacher's aid. She was out of the class for the entire period and we did NOTHING. it was the most boring hour of my life.

Tomorrow is a half day and I'm not even going to bother going to school. YAY CHRISTMAS BREAK BITCHEZ

s_k 12-22-2010 07:20 PM

Sounds like a pretty average day to me ;D.

Flyingpig437 12-23-2010 07:11 AM

On the bus back from town today a bird who lives near me said 'this drivers a driving a bit rough isn't he?' I said 'I hadn't noticed but now you mention it. I think you're right.' Then she said 'he must be on a promise'!!!

I have no idea what any of that means but it's certainly interesting that there are talking birds where you live.

Maybe he live's in the 20's.

ThePhanastasio 12-23-2010 08:19 AM

Talking birds reminds me of that one Irvine Welsh story in The Acid House.

crash_override 12-23-2010 08:36 AM

Maybe he's literally stuck in the golden age, and calls all women birds. Maybe he's protecting his sources, from whom he gathered this incredibly sensitive information.

simplephysics 12-23-2010 09:29 AM

Just looked up my final grades, managed to pull a 4.0 for this past semester, there's a weight off my shoulders. Now I can enjoy the next 2 weeks of holiday break in peace.

I blocked my parents on FB, and I'm making my profile private.
Honestly, my parents should stay out of my facebook, them getting mad at me because I'm liking a band called Fuck Buttons is ridiculous.

That sort of sounds like they're from 1928.
I never knew the **** word was actually a big deal there.

I'm having dinner with my boyfriend's family today

kind of ****ing terrified

s_k 12-25-2010 01:49 PM

Well as long as you take it easy on the ****, **** and **** (yah I actually typed little stars there), you should be fine.
You seem like a nice girl to me. Don't think you should worry :).
You might not be 'ms. perfect' for the family-in-law, but then you don't have to be. That would be terrifying. You won't disappoint, you'll see :).

Kaimon 12-25-2010 03:55 PM

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY JESUS.

Going to have dinner with family, unwrap presents, and watch the new Doctor Who special :)

EDIT: And the first Lord of the Rings movie.

poppie 12-25-2010 04:12 PM

oops sorry moving my own post to the weather thread...

Flyingpig437 12-26-2010 04:02 AM

Whoo!! Woke up without a hangover! Then again as I didn't touch a drop yesterday, outside of some contatined in some liquor sweets, it's not too surprising!

Whatcha think of it? I was kinda underwhelmed. It was good, but not CHRISTMAS SPECIAL FANTASTIC, ya know?

Kaimon 12-26-2010 05:15 PM

Haha it gave me more of a warm fuzzy feeling. Wasn't really nearly as exciting as years past, but it sure made me cry.

New season looks kinda intense though. Was that a bearded Doctor in the trailer I see?
"I wear a stetson now. Stetsons are cool."

Zer0 12-26-2010 05:21 PM

It probably wasn't the best Christmas for me personally, pretty boring actually, but the best thing was one of my best friends getting engaged to his girlfriend, delighted for them!
Was supposed to go out drinking tonight but i'm unfortunately dying with the flu so i decided to stay at home and have a few cans instead. Hopefully i'll be ok by new years eve.

Dayvan Cowboy 12-27-2010 12:43 PM

Ha, last night was awesome. I had the house to myself so I listened to my new Autechre CD and tried dancing to it as a joke. Well, I ended up slipping and falling because dancing to IDM usually ends up in injury. I ended up getting super bored so I ended up working on Blender3D again. I ingested lots of candy and benadryl so I felt really weird, and then I decided that it was a good idea to listen to some Toby Driver. I got really scared so I went to bed. I had to keep telling my dog to shut up because he was whining in his bed because he wanted to come into my room. After that, I had a dream that I was at my favourite musician's house, and then, I immediately thought "WAIT A MINUTE, I DON'T KNOW THIS GUY. HE LIVES REALLY FAR AWAY" and then I screamed "HEY! I'M DREAMING!" and then I got really shocked and had this weird falling sensation. I woke up, and I listened to some music, and went to bed again. THE END.

Kaimon 12-27-2010 03:41 PM

Day one with dad out of state. Right now, over at a friend's house. I guess she's sleeping . Whatever, I'm really tired too. But I'm bored. Very, very bored. I'm even watching a marathon of The Hills.

THE ****ING HILLS.

s_k 12-27-2010 04:35 PM

Went to Maastricht to take pictures.
And now I'm listening to Calexico with a friend who's sitting behind me (I actually have a guest PC and guest laptop, yeah ;D).

Um, my day was alright. My throat is really sore and I think I might be coming down with laryngitis so I got sent home from work within an hour of being there and they also gave me tomorrow off. I'm off to the quacks on Wednesday to see if I can get anything for it, hopefully it's gone soon because my throat is really irritable. I got everything fully booked for my new year plans now, off to see Sonic Youth and Shellac in London, quite dubious though because I'm going alone so it might be lonely but ah well, it's sure gonna be a change. Also I napped unintentionally when I got home, for 3 hours, so now I'll be awake until all hours. Great.

s_k 12-27-2010 07:08 PM

Night time is the right time ;).

TheFolkslave 12-28-2010 06:18 PM

Today was pretty great. Coffee with friends, watched some American Dad and just hanged out with my brother. I also met my ex-girlfriend and had a talk with her. I miss her so terribly but I'm so happy that we get along so well. I lost my girlfriend but I think she'll remain as my best friend. We get along so well and it's still great to be with her. It will take time to get over her but I know after some time we can be just friends and love each other in away that friends do.

s_k 12-28-2010 06:24 PM

It can work. I know it can ;).
Just try not to force anything and it will work out.

Dayvan Cowboy 12-28-2010 06:42 PM

Today the only thing I did was sit around and eat the world's best sandwich and mom's baked mac and cheese.. Tomorrow I'm going to watch drunk people play rockband and tape Richard D James' face onto a cereal box. just like I did to Toby Driver's face. Honestly, taping musician's faces onto cereal boxes is fun, especially when Aphex Twin is now Toucan Twin. let's hope that my printer will cooperate this time.

s_k 12-28-2010 06:51 PM

Ok, I've been hungry all evening and promised myself not to eat anything. And all evening my friends (girls) on MSN are talking about loads of food, chocolate, whatever...
I just forgot a bit about my hunger and now you got it going again.
I'm going to make some macaroni, dammit!
