Today is my 33rd Anniversary being married to Linda.

Received recommendations from a journalist friend that I deliver a talk at the next conference for The International Journal of Arts & Sciences.

On Saturdays, I have to take the train to my other job. This Saturday was national jump-in-front-of-a-train day. Guess I missed the memo.

Anyway, I get to the train station and see that the train I usually take is stopped because someone jumped. So I decide on one of two alternate routes. As I'm about to take my second option, something tells me to take the third. So I do. About halfway to work, I see something flash up on the information monitor. Yep! Someone jumped in front of the second option, which means if I'd taken it, I would've never gotten to work.

Considering that my other job is officiating weddings, I'm glad I didn't miss work and ruin their special day!
