That was actually funny. Didn't make me lol but it made me grin and that's more than most things that people reply 'lol' to.

It had been sort of an "off-day" - little accomplished, little achieved, and little satisfaction derived from it.

As the old saying goes, "I tried nothing... and that didn't work."

But around 9:30pm I was once again stirred with desire and inspiration. With a warm cup of tea, Symphony of Science pouring gently from my speakers, I've set myself to the task of restructuring my library's %genre% tags to empower my exploitative examinations of the neglected sectors of my hard disk - this in an effort to promote and more readily enable valuable musical discoveries through multi-genre tagging and more accurate genre assignments.

I so do love a project!

A good day as far as I'm concerned.

Feeling accomplished. Successfully identified and eliminated ~100 redundant or unnecessary genres reducing my library to just 230 essential primary and subgenres. In just under 3 hours I've effectively trimmed away 30% of excess genre data from my collection. The more streamlined categorical structure will facilitate browsing by genre from the Ultrasonic mobile app (an unofficial fork of Subsonic). Looking forward to future listenings!

gmusicbrowser for linux for large library management (150,000+ tracks) in the desktop environment. And the aforementioned Ultrasonic to access the complete library from any web-enabled device, (usually my phone, tablet, and my Chromebook when I'm out writing articles at the cafe).

But the whole tagging project just took a backseat to the real news of the day -

Gaz from Future Sound of London and Amorphous Androgynous just asked me to be his friend on FB. He's interested in starting a dialog.

First Sundae Club, then the man behind the KLF Recovered & Remastered series, then DJ Food, the legendary Manuel Gottsching, and now FSOL is digging my work.

Well damn.

A similar situation happened to me when I was trying to get it in with a MILF but I ended up meeting her four kids and they all hugged me goodnight. It was weird and just killed my boner. I didn't feel like fucking their mother like minutes later after hugging them goodnight.

Don't be a dick.
Damn, sorry to hear you are going through that much ****, I'm pretty sure the boring part he's referring to is court/lawyer talk. Most people don't like lawyers in general.

I have love/hate relationships with projects because I always start up a new one but never finish it up.

When not doing anything else a little armchair politicianing passes the time. As does making fun of Chula.
