I've met so many people with that Radiohead tattoo is sickening. Be more creative with Radiohead tattoos please.

It's not a band tat though, so even if I stop liking Florence I wouldn't be representing her.. I get what your saying, which is a huge reason tattoos aren't for everyone. I personally wouldn't mind. The tat still tells a story about a time in your life and I'm okay growing out of it.

I could see you having a point if you got like a swastika or cross and then stopped believing, but i have no desire to get any sort of symbolism like that. I want artwork.

I'd like one, but it needs to be right and I haven't found it/spent much time trying to figure that out. Likely something related to TMR, John Cage, or my own music. Actually if I did my own music, a branding might be more appropriate. Are those hard to get legally in the states?

It's actually illegal in NJ :( The hard part is finding a reliable person to do it. There is a perfect temperature (~550 F, iirc) that should be maintained during the process or else you risk ripping the skin when pulling off and causing more bubbly scars instead of something nice. Idk much about those branding pens, I'd rather just get a skin removal scarification if I were to go that route.

Scarification is beautiful and striking, I think; that's something I'd like to find out more about, too. I'd much rather get something like that done rather than a tattoo.

Yeah, that's the reason I prefer tatts that actually tell a story or like document a life milestone instead of just what I'm interested in at the time.
