luckily my manager was pretty chill about it when i explained it to her

one of my good friends just told me that he knocked a chick up and that shes due at the end of the month. he hasn't told anyone except his parents and now me. never met the chick - they weren't dating but just casually hooking up. apparently they are going to move in together and then figure out if a relationship will work or else just co-parent.

this is a wild turn of events; hes one the least likeliest of my friends to have a kid on the way. originally he was supposed to come down and stay at my place for a raucous stampede this weekend but justifiably is staying home to save coin.
