Mike will be 28 next month. Sherri is 34. Yes, we own the home but still owe the bank about $170K (house is worth about $450K).

Will not be contacting her in any way for at least a week or 2. I don't put much weight into her words right now because of emotions and hormones.

So glad Mike is home right now. He and I are getting along as good as we have in a long time. We're really great buds when all of the crap is swept away. He's been a rock the past couple of days.

Finances are always relative but that seems ok to me. I’d take that 200g and buy two 100g cribs in Idaho or Montana or Wyoming. Rent one, live in the other, get a bass and a keyboard and make recordings for BandCamp and Spotify. Maybe get a part time job.

Does your son have a job or collect SSI? He’s a good looking dude, btw.

As for your wife, you gotta try your best to understand it from her perspective. That doesn’t mean agree with it but you can’t work things out unless you get where she’s coming from. If what’s up isn’t working you’re going to have to be willing to make changes.

If it is a lost call, don’t try to drink it away. That’ll kill you. Eat healthy, exercise, chill with your dog, read and listen to music.

It's a dream job for him and he's making good money and getting plenty of hours for obvious reasons.

One other note about Linda. Her dad died when she was a teenager in a plane crash. Her sister and brother died a year apart when she was in her early 30s (the brother she's staying with is actually a step brother). And about 2 months ago her mother suddenly passed away. She's been having a hard time coping with the fact she's the only one left now.

I have to stay local for my job. I took a huge pay cut but am still making more than I would if I started from scratch. We also have a couple of things in the works that could help things finance wise.

The big hurdle will be selling the house. We have 1,600 sq ft. 3 bedrooms (1 is a huge master bedroom) and 2.5 baths. If it's just going to be me and mike we could get by with a whole lot less - we also live in a posh area. If we moved closer to downtown in an older area my monthly costs could easily be half of what they are now. Maybe more.

Yeah, you can be proud of your son, Chula. He may have mental problems as you say but you wouldn't know it to look at him. He looks happy and well-adjusted, and yes, handsome too. Guess the apple doesn't fall etc huh?
