The Indians totally don’t.

Bat, I know you’re trolling but he’s not taking **** from any tribe. The reservation is funded by an absurd bureaucracy and can probably count Chula as a resident thus increasing funding for the reservation the same way each student in a school or each inmate in a jail increases funding. If the tribe didn’t want Chula there they’d drive him off.

You're no fun.

Since Chula doesn’t even seem to know his own native ancestry I’m second guessing how this worked. Maybe he didn’t submit any documentation or even answer any questions. Maybe he’s just staying there as a campground host and all they got him doing is cleaning the restrooms. At $600 a month that would be $20 a day plus probably two hours of literally ****ty labor a day. $40 a day. In Florida, state parks are between $20-$30 a night but you can’t stay more than two weeks (unless you’re a host).

Not my fault I'm 1/6th Indian.

An update on my tenant fiasco after they set fire to my house:

I learned that the reason he was fired the day he set the fire was because he was caught on video stealing cash from our mutual employer repeatedly. So add that little nugget of joy to my dilemma.

He ended up paying the $750 in back electric bills but for a spell was illegally squatting in my home after the 60 days I generously gave him to find a new job and an apartment. Sadly they did their very best to make my time at home as uncomfortable as possible. It's a shame that they went that route, but I stuck to the high road.

I didn’t take it lying down. I prepped documents, police reports, fire reports, photos of the squalor they were living in, etc for the court and threatened them with eviction. Every day in the house with them was an endurance trial and an ongoing risk of fire. The threat of an eviction on their already abysmal credit score was sufficient to get them to leave on their own. I got tired of letting people walk all over me and broke the patterning of abusive contacts in my life.

They left piles of broken furniture, animal feces, and trash everywhere in the attic when they left. I'll be hiring a cleaning crew and billing him for the labor and for outstanding rent and utilities.

I’m now king of my castle for the first time with an entire tidy, quiet house to myself. I wasted not a second and cleaned up the sty they’d made of my home and have finally restored its neoclassical beauty.

Nightmare over. Looking forward to new beginnings.

This is what they left behind.

Congrats! Now that the place is all yours, you can finally wank in peace.

What a bunch of *******s. Congrats on being rid of them.
I've lived alone since I was 15 and the thought of someone, especially inconsiderate deadbeats, infringing on the sanctity of my castle is scary af.

I'm actually surprised to hear that you were paid back the $750 they owed you. Based on your previous descriptions (and now the employee theft) I had them figured for a couple of smack junkies.
Good luck with your new direction.

All that mess but no beer cans and liquor bottles? Weird.
