I can hear it in my mind already.
It makes me think of the time I fumbled a watermelon at the grocery store, and as I awkwardly tried to catch it, my thumbnail sliced across it in just the perfect way to inject a green splinter deep under the nail. It hurt so badly that I had to run over to the cosmetics section, buy tweezers, then go out to my car and spent several minutes extracting it. |
