Came on to complain about the nasty cold I've had the last 2 days (why I'm not recording my non-jazzy Joe Pass track). It's been cold, raw, and wet our here the past 3 days.

After reading the past 1/2 dozen pages......... never-mind.

Spent some weeks during the dog days of summer in both Little Rock, AK and Hong Kong. Both made the worst of summers back in New England just barely tolerable. Gotta love when you take a shower and the act of toweling yourself off makes you feel grosser than before the shower.

HK: Ya walk around with a wet washcloth to keep your face and lips hydrated, and an umbrella (even with the sun full on shining) because of the inevitable daily monsoon like downpour.

Little rock use to have this famous humongous tree that I got to see. Got killed by lighting about 10 years ago. Was there during the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal.

The local newspaper's headline was basically "What a b1tch!" General store had a life-size Bill and Hillary cutout you could pose with.
