Just found out a friend killed himself earlier this week. It's still not clear when exactly, which I'm kind of stuck on because I know he had several dogs. Suicide is so weird for me.. on one hand I'm really sad because he seemed to be doing really well lately (he had really extreme ptsd after serving in Afghanistan and ended up in solitary confinement for a year and a half after attacking a family friend with a shovel) but on the other I'm genuinely glad he finally found some peace. Dont ever stop checking on your friends. Here's to Milo

They say the French were cowards for surrendering too quickly. WTF do you call an army that just starts blowing their own brains out? At least kamikaze and suicide bombers generally take some of the enemy with them. A trillion dollars a year apparently can’t buy grit.

I know it sounds shitty and wrong and against everything the world should stand for, but if you are rich and can't find a reason to live, then FUCK YOU! A shit ton of money gives you virtually unlimited resources, which can fix pretty much ANY problem that you may have in life.

Everything about the accumulation of wealth is emotionally hollow. lol @ the American Dream- once you get it, it turns out to be a nightmare.

The accumlation of wealth is the same thing that drives athletes to go pro and mountain climbers to tackle Everest. It's just a different environment.

Everest is a good analogy because all they’re doing is taking a collective **** on a mountain that should be left alone. Waiting in lines like they’re at Disneyland.
