did my first machining tonight, it was stressful asf considering Ive never touched the thing before. i did alright, i had to ask a few questions, its going to be hard to remember how to even operate by next week i think :/

then my biology professor emails everyones, says chapter 4 is due also, i didnt know that until right now. thank God i checked my email.

im also thankful that i have tomorrow completely off to get all this homework done. about to youtube what i did tonight. see if its on youtube for refreshment. i dont get how the hell you get to practice on a milling machine if you dont have one personally at home lol the professor show us ONE time, then excepted us to know everything until the finish cut. :yikes:

Is the machining for school or your job?

Is it all manual or the milling machine connected to a computer?

It seems like running a milling machine is a skill that’s very likely to be automated and a very precisely automated milling machine is like a cousin to a 3D printer. Do you think the technologies will overlap or am I way off base?

for school, and manual right now but we are going to learn the HAAS milling machines further in the course  they teach 3D printing at the school also and quality control if ya cant cut it in machining i guess. the VA wouldnt allow me to go to school if the career didnt have a certain future that looked good. for CNC machinists here in Connecticut, there are so many openings because of the aerospace industry.

I think I have it set in my mind that I am not taking on another bull**** dead end job that doesn't take care of me. I am determined to make a living off of my own ideas making myself money.

That's the exact reason not to sell drugs.
