So yeah not a great start to the day but haven't smoked anything since then so I guess that's good. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day. Not giving up tho. I need to kick this habit.

It took me a while to quit, but once I made my mind up that was it. I used joints to help curve the cravings. Gum and things to chew on helped too. Good on ya for throwing the pack out. Keep it rollin Kiiiiiii.

Ended up not buying a pack on my way home and I feel good about it. Currently got weed and tomorrow will be a better day. Mentally I'm there and I want to quit but simultaneously dealing with everything else mentally is tough and breaking habits is really hard. Especially since I'm so used to smoking to deal with stress. Really pushing for a good day tomorrow.

Good job man. Stick to it and it'll be a get easier over time and soon enough you won't even think about smokes at all. Biggest thing that kept me off of cigarettes was just being sick of them after I went through about two packs drunk as **** at the horse races one day. The next two days, I felt like **** and just decided to be done with it. When I went back to the races a couple of weeks later, there were "no smoking" signs all over the place. True story.

Be careful about smoking for stress though. I get the appeal of that and I do it too, but you gotta resolve what's making you stressed or you'll just end up getting more stressed in the long run. Quitting cigs is a good start though, it could get you in the habit of breaking habits when you need to.

I'm really pushing for it too because I'm just tired of it. Weed has definitely helped when it comes to cravings so that's certainly nice. Also just tired of smelling like cigs all the time even though I do keep spray with me. Gets old. I'm basically at the point now that if I can do it for a couple days, I'll be good moving forward with it.. The first few days are the hardest.
I've been here before. And thank you! I know you quit recently and I did give you **** so my bad there. Hope you've been doing well in that regard.

Luckily I've been working open to close all week so I haven't been thinking about it much. I just like to voice it here more so because it helps me improve going forward. But yeah I feel ya. The hump is the hard part. Just gotta keep pushing forward. I'll get there.
