That's pretty much my shop, yup. I don't get any foot traffic though so all my customers are internet and word of mouth based. Sh*t is hard.

I have thought about the option of saving up enough to open a store though

The guy who ran the corner store next to my place in Florida was some Muslim from Bangladesh named Ishmael. He didn't drink, didn't smoke, didn't do drugs. But he sold any vice you can think of that was legal sell in FL. Alcohol, tobacco, fake weed/spice, porn, pipes and bongs, dope boy tees (either plain cotton t shirts in a variety of colors, or fancier t shirts with popular cartoon characters holding guns, stacking money, selling crack)...

I always sorta respected his hustle in that all this **** he was selling was Haram to him and he wouldn't touch it, but he found a sure fire if immoral yet legal way to make a decent living and he jumped the opportunity, coming from a country like Bangladesh.

If you are good with people and dependable enough you might make better money on tips waiting/bartending etc

Or if your background is clear enough and you go through the necessary hoops/training, you can be a mailman/truck driver etc and get a decent enough salary for no degree.

Or you can think even more outside the box. Gay porn. Drug dealer. Identity theft. Etc.

Most of that would make me want to kill myself as much or more than service industry does. **** the grind.

Personally, I would rather work harder for more money than count the clock for a measly 8 bucks/hr at some retail/fast food type gig

I've done both, and I know which one I prefer

But everyone is different
