I'm sure you don't see it as bragging but you definitely see working ****ty jobs and not complaining about it as a positive sign of manliness and I think it's just a symptom of a world that sees itself as having no alternative and pretending it's not degrading.

I think work ethic is a valuable trait. Resilience, determination, endurance... In a nutshell, being a survivor.

I think you are sheltered and have no idea what being an adult is like.
